More reef adventure above the water!

The view as we leave Cairns, on our way to Green Island where we stop to pick up more adventurers. 

Once we arrived this was the platform from which all the activities took place.  The area was roped off to keep us from drifting to far.

A Day at the Reef!

Bobbing in the ocean  Alan and  I did our best to capture this magnificent underwater world with our camera.

These are pictures of the outer barrier reef off of Cairns, Australia.  I made the mistake of wearing a life vest which was quit entertaining when trying to capture the colorful fish living in the reef.  Alan mask kept filling up with water the time he got the camera.  So next time we are going to learn to scuba dive.  This however, won't keep us from sharing OODLES of incredible corals picture and if you look hard, the fish will make it into a shot or two :)

I know, I KNOW, If only the fish would have stayed in the frame...look though how cool half of him is :)
