Beautiful Blooming Flowers, my favorite thing to photograph :)

Agapantha, one of the plants common to San Diego, there in blue too and I am sure soon
to be photographed:D
Feel free to add the names of the plants.  This one grows on shrubs all around our building.
Is this a gardenia or maybe a type of magnolia?
This one blooms on a pine like tree.

Fun Signs Along the Way!

The city is set up nicely for walkers and bike riders! A few tips for spring...be aware of bike riders with antenna coming out of the mandatory helmets, they are riding fast and hoping to avoid the magpie's that like to protect their nest and mate.  We have got a few chuckles out of the signs along the walks as well.

This one I was just confused :<
(Hey Brenda look!)

Even walking is on the "Wrong Side" :)
All kidding a side it is a great place to get in a good walk!

To Walk or Drive......I pick WALK!

Well if you have ever seen the movie "The Pacifier"  You will get what I was feeling when I got out of the car and wanted to kiss the ground :D.  Alan will get better at driving on the "Wrong Side"of the road, but for now I choose to walk!  These are a few of the things Alan and I see along the river walks...Enjoy!  "'

This little guy was my first creature, poor guy lost his tale ;(

First sign of spring flowers!

Great opportunity to photograph the scenic architecture!

Texture and reflection, love it!

We can see this lite at night from our bolcony.

As Spring unfolds, the bogonvilla fills these sculptured archways in the South Banks walkways.
A little splash of my honey too!

A Wonderful place to walk around and envelope yourself with some CULTURE!

More beautiful Asian architecture to come.....

Market was nice but was missing more local works of art.  Hillsboro you got it going :)
The music fantastic!

City Cat ride to the markets at South Bank

Nothing Like the wind blowing through your hair as you speed through the water ways of Brisbane!  Reminds me of San Diego growing up.

At the airport!

Wow we are really on our adventure. Yes, the luggage made it and Alan didn't even undo his hernia thanks to my strong boys & cousin. All that organizing and I was forced to fedex the rest of my beads. How do you pack for two years? No charge for extra bag, Yea, upgraded to business class for the long leg.....woo whoo! Such worry warts, I tell you that positive attitude and faith does the trick everytime!!!!

A Couple Winks Ahead....

We made it, nice flight, love that business class, still combuberated with the time/day difference but am kinda liking getting up at the crack of dawn.  The sun in the morning is so bright it beckons us awake with the bird chirping, no singing a different song.
The place is wonderful and other than having to get our meals on foot, soon we will get groceries.  Delivery is a marvelous thing.  The view from every window is fabulous morning, noon, and night.  The river walk is beautiful and traveling on the opposite side or the walk is not to different.  However when it comes to the car that is a different thing.  We had the good fortune to bump into and little angel on our way home with hands filled with bags for our first night in the apartment.  We all had a good chuckle when she offered to take us out of the "car park" (New term), and she went to open the passenger car door for me and I went to get into the drivers side.  She said, you really or just new here!
